About Me

As an interdisciplinary scholar bridging economic sociology and strategic management, I investigate how leaders' formative experiences shape organizational decision-making and its broader societal impact. My research examines the complex relationship between executive leadership and social inequality, with particular focus on how cognitive frameworks and lived experiences of top management influence firm behavior and economic outcomes.

Drawing upon my unique background in mental health counseling and executive consulting, I employ Social Imprinting Theory to explore how early-life experiences and socioeconomic origins impact strategic decision-making at the highest organizational levels. My work challenges traditional paradigms by revealing how CEOs' social class backgrounds can simultaneously drive both self-serving and prosocial organizational behaviors through the development of distinct psychological dispositions like resource insecurity mindset. Through innovative multi-method approaches combining archival analysis, experiments, surveys, and qualitative interviews, I uncover the subtle yet crucial psychological and sociological factors that shape organizational strategy and outcomes.
